We are all living in a world where traveling is a great part of our everyday life.Sometimes the route is the same, day after day, month after month – same boring trip, same people, same places to go and often our trip ends at our workplace.
But things can actually be not so bad and we can find the bright side of our journey thanks to the books. So, if you need some positive and fresh start of the day, just grab a book and prepare to enter a whole different world with our Top 6 Books that Will Make Your Trip Exciting!

1.Odette Toulemonde Et Autres Histoires – Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt:
These eight stories are a great way to spend your time. Schmitt always finds a way to surprise his readers with a wonderful piece of work. An interesting fact about his book is that it is based on a true story, experienced by the author himself. A little romance dressed in a brilliant but light-hearted style – what more we need for a perfect morning trip?

2. Volume 2.0 – Alexander Shpatov
How can we miss a collection of short urban stories? Not just this booklet is in a bag-like format – it’s light and does not take much space, but it will make you laugh until the bus stops. So, there is no chance of falling asleep. Each one of the Shpatov stories’ length is literally 2-3 pages. Their aim is not to teach you a wise life lesson, but make you smile and say, “Yeah, and I’ve been there!

3. The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir Who Got Trapped in an Ikea Wardrobe review – Romain Puértolas:

The main character with the colorful name – Ajatashtru Lavash Patel will guide you through a journey full of crazy adventures. Every sentence of this book will make you laugh, but the book itself is not stupidly written. I frankly believe that writing in a witty way and the gift to make someone smile is far more difficult than to make a reader cry. Puértolas is a traveler and adventurer himself. So, he did a brilliant work of bringing a great deal of good mood to his novel.

4. Delicacy by David Foenkinos:

Delicacy is one of my favorite books – fresh, with an interesting plot, lively narrative, a pleasant sense of humor and sensuality. The story is very real, the theme of love is predominant, and the main characters are not idealized, it is very easy to recognize yourself in them. As one of them says, “After their last words, he had gone slowly. Silently. Discrete as a comma in a novel of eight hundred pages. ”
I highly recommend you to read the book first and then watch the movie.

 5. The Ice Princess by Camilla Läckberg:

Well, no one has ever said that you must read a book about love before the start of the working day to escape into another world where there is no smell of gasoline, traffic jams, etc … Still worth the escape, but a thriller can do a far better job! The Ice Princess by Camilla Läckberg is the first book in the series of “The Swedish Agatha Christie” for a writer and chief police inspector who solve mysterious murders in the small coastal town of Felbaka.
If you fall in criminal series with a great deal of suspense, combined with home-like coziness, constantly drinking coffee and eating sweets on the pages, it’s time to start the Ice Princess.

To put it in a nutshell – people traveling to work by car… please, do not suffer that your morning cannot start with a book. Audiobooks are perfect for your case! But be careful, you may want to be in a traffic jam in order to extend the pleasure of the good book!
